Bill Shannon has lived with bilateral hip condition since childhood. His legs cannot bear the weight of his body and so he’s spent many years on crutches. Still, he found a way to express himself through dance, skateboarding and his own take on street movement. Shannon’s work is rooted in street culture and informed by the fine arts, and he is the featured artist for the American College Dance Festival, hosted this year by WSU.
